Proficiency testing is an external quality and accuracy assessment process that tests unknown specimens from an outside source to ensure accurate lab testing results.

AgLAM conducts proficiency testing for 3 rounds per year with participants ranging from plantation companies, university, government, commercial company and commercial laboratories. 3 meetings are conducted every year at selected venues to discuss on the programme.
